Lake Valley Fire Protection District NOTICE TO BIDDERS.  The District is soliciting proposals for services for HAZARDOUS FUELS REDUCTION SERVICES ON THE CITY OF SOUTH LAKE TAHOE AIRPORT PROPERTY. The project totals approximately 37 acres.

The project includes the cutting, removal, and/or rearrangement of fuels to meet the vegetation treatment specifications of the Cal Fire Forest Fire Prevention Exemption Pilot Project. Request for Proposal documents, which includes the Request for Proposals, Vegetation Management Plan and Specifications, Contract documents, and other required Proposal forms may be obtained at no cost by download from the Lake Valley Fire Protection District’s website, https://www.lakevalleyfire.org

Alternatively, Request for Proposal documents may be viewed at no charge at Fire Station Seven, 2211 Keetak Street, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.  Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder’s name and return address and an electronic copy must be emailed.  To be considered, bids must be received by the District at Fire State Seven, 2211 Keetak Street, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 and electronically at dbanchio@gmail.com, and cc’d at zlendick@caltahoefire.net, at or before 5:00 p.m. on (REVISED/EXTENDED) May 22nd, 2019The bids will be publicly opened and read at said location at 5:00p.m. on (REVISED/EXTENDED) May 23rd, 2019
